THE WORLD SCOUT FOUNDATION... ... helps the growth and development of Scouting worldwide by providing financial support for the World Organization of the Scout Movement. It does this by permanently investing capital donations from individuals, foundations, corporations, governments, and from members of the Scout Movement who want to help young people learn positive values and become tomorrow's leaders. The Foundation also seeks non-capital donations to support specific World Scouting projects. FOUNDATION LEADERSHIP The Foundation enjoys the very active leadership of its Honorary President, His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. Chairmanship of the Foundation is William F. "Rick" Cronk (from our council!). Mr. Lars Kolind of Denmark is the Chairman-elect.

ABOUT THE BADEN-POWELL WORLD FELLOWSHIP The Fellowship recognizes individuals for their financial contributions to the World Scout Foundation to help support Scouting around the world. There are more than 1,000 living members of the Fellowship from 60 countries. Fellowship receptions and other events are periodically held in different parts of the world to bring members together and to present insignia to new members. THE INSIGNIA & MEDALLION Membership includes a confering of the Fellowship's revered bronze medallion (pictured.) It depicts Scouting's founder, Lord Robert Baden-Powell of Gillwell on the obverse and the World Crest of Scouting on the reverse. Each medallion is inscribed with the donor's name and Fellowship membership date. Most presentations of this recognition are made by the Honorary President of the World Scout Foundation, His Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden. JOINING THE FELLOWSHIP A contribution of US$10,000 is required for membership in the Fellowship.
